The 2023 Kia Carnival EX+: Engine repair

For engine work on your 2023 Kia Carnival EX+, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Your car, your notes

A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The 3.5L 6-cylinder does the work, through an 8-speed automatic.

How the request works

Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

Car care, briefly

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
