Engine repair for the Lucid
Need engine work for the Lucid? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
What to send us
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Between shop visits
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
One more step
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
