Engine repair: how we help
Your Maserati 222E needs engine work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Before the shop sees your 222E
If you have the service history of your 222E, have it ready for the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
What to send us
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
A short checklist
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Questions first?
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
