The Mazda Mazda5: Engine repair
For engine work on the Mazda Mazda5, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Before the shop sees your Mazda5
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
From request to repair
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A rental while you wait
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Car care, briefly
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Ready when you are
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
