Engine repair: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for engine work on the Mercury Sable we arrange a trusted shop. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
About your Sable
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
Our part and the shop's part
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Stay on the road
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Talking to the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Get an offer
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
We have no car while yours is in on the site right now. Request one and we look for it for your dates, or take a similar car that is available now.
