Engine repair: how we help
Your 2026 MINI Cooper needs engine work? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your Cooper and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic.
What we arrange
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Keep moving meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Talking to the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Between shop visits
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Next step
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
