Arranging the work for the Ghost
Your 2016 Rolls-Royce Ghost needs engine work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Ghost. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The 6.6L 12-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive.
The steps
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A rental while you wait
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Talking to the shop
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Between shop visits
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Your move
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
