Engine repair: how we help
For engine work on the Saab 9-5, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your 9-5 and the shop
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 9-5. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the arrangement works
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Car care, briefly
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
A short checklist
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Ready when you are
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
