Engine repair: how we help
Engine repair for the Saab 9000: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
About your 9000
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 9000. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. If you have the service history of your 9000, have it ready for the shop.
From request to repair
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
Your rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We collect the rental when your car is back. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Talking to the shop
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Small things that help
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Ready when you are
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
