Arranging the work for the Uncharted
For engine work on your Subaru Uncharted, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.
Your Uncharted and the shop
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Uncharted. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
How the request works
You approve the shop's quote before any work. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Keep moving meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
What to ask
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Small things that help
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
Ask us
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
