Arranging the work for the Model X
For engine work on your 2020 Tesla Model X, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.
Your Model X and the shop
If you have the service history of your Model X, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Model X. It is powered by the electric motor, with all-wheel drive.
How the request works
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Between shop visits
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Over to you
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request engine repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
