Engine repair: how we help

For engine work on your Toyota, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Your car, your notes

Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.

What to send us

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.

Your rental while you wait

Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Between shop visits

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Let us know

A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.

Request engine repair

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
