Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,933 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland, each with its own page.

The figures, translated

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through a 6-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.6 L/100 km combined, it needs around 26 litres for a 300 km round trip. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $45.15 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

Booking, step by step

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What to have ready

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
