The figures, translated

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.8 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $136.50 at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 368 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

What to expect when you book

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Who can rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
