The figures, translated

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.65 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Request, offer, keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

What we ask of drivers

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
