Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Expect about 24 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.9 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, it costs about $13.83 to drive 100 km.

Who rents the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 4.76 m from bumper to bumper, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to have ready

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How to book

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
