Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Getting this car from us

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

From request to keys

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Driver requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Make a request

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
