Renting for Mapleton

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 2,009 km from Mapleton, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Mapleton.

What the specs mean

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Rent this car

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer.

Request, offer, keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Before pickup

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
