The numbers in plain words

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Getting one from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Booking, step by step

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Who qualifies

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
