What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

The EPA rates it at 8.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

The A4 in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Booking made plain

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Still deciding?

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
