A note on Java

Java is about 1,072 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Tara Village, South Side and Howe are the closest places to Java on our list.

Engine and fuel

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 9.9 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 30 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $17.33.

Who the Q5 suits

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Space, size and seats

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Can I rent it?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

The booking steps

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

What we need from you

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
