What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 9.7 L/100 km combined, it needs around 29 litres for a 300 km round trip. For 1,000 km, budget about $169.70 at our price setting.

Space and size

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. Length: 4.66 m. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Good uses for the Q5

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Before pickup

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Booking with CarmaCars

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
