Java and the Q7

Java is about 442 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners.

Engine and fuel

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

By the EPA's combined rating of 11.0 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 33 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $57.75 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Q7

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

What to expect from the Q7

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Can I rent it?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How a booking comes together

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

What to have ready

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
