Driver basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

The booking steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
