Executive car service and the 2002 Ford Taurus
Want to know if the 2002 Ford Taurus suits a car with a driver? Read on. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
What the specs mean
Power comes from the 3.0L 6-cylinder, driving through a 4-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 35 litres, from its 11.8 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $182.90.
How big it is
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 1,104 litres: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Best uses
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What to expect when you book
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Renting: the basics
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
Your move
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
