The 2002 Kia Optima: Executive car service
Want the 2002 Kia Optima as a car with a driver? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
What the figures tell you
Its 2.4L 4-cylinder drives through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
A combined rating of 11.2 L/100 km works out to about 34 litres per 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $17.36.
Who it is for
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Space, size and seats
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Getting one from us
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What to expect when you book
You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
What we check
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Still deciding?
Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
