The 2011 Lexus IS: Executive car service
Want the 2011 Lexus IS as a car with a driver? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Reading the spec sheet
The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 6-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Combined fuel use is 9.7 L/100 km: about 29 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $16.97 at our price setting.
Who the IS suits
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
What the IS is like
Being a small car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 311 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Renting this car
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Requesting a car
Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Who qualifies
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
