The 2012 Lexus LS: Executive car service
For a car with a driver, here is what the 2012 Lexus LS brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
What the specs mean
It runs the 5.0L 8-cylinder hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
It is rated at 11.5 L/100 km combined, so budget about 35 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $178.30.
What the LS is like
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 283 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Can I rent it?
Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What we need from you
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
What to expect when you book
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Ready when you are
Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
