An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Booking, step by step
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
