Renting the 2021 Nissan Altima SV as a car with a driver works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The Altima and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Other places near Java: Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The 2.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Rated at 7.6 L/100 km combined, it needs around 23 litres for a 300 km round trip. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $11.78.

What the Altima is like

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Altima

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Can I rent it?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How it works

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

When you know your dates

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
