Specs, explained

It uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The combined figure, 7.2 L/100 km, means roughly 22 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $11.16, and a 300 km weekend about $33.48.

Best uses

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What to expect from the Kicks

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 708 litres by the EPA's count: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

In our fleet

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we ask of drivers

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Requesting a car

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
