What happens when you ask for a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
