What the specs mean

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

How it works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What we ask of drivers

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
