Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 16.8 kWh/100 km, about 50 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 525 km; plan for less in the cold. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $2.52.

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

What to have ready

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
