Executive car service: the 2016 Toyota Corolla CE

For a car with a driver, here is what the 2016 Toyota Corolla CE brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Yameri and the Corolla

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,364 km from Yameri, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Yameri starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.5 L/100 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $11.63.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Practical details

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can you rent one?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

The booking steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
