A note on Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

Power: the 2.5L 4-cylinder; drive: all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 24 litres, from its 7.9 L/100 km rating. Expect about $12.25 per 100 km at our price setting.

Inside and out

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

A good match for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requesting a car

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Renting: the basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Your move
