The BYD: Headlight restoration
CarmaCars takes requests for headlight restoration on the BYD, and rents you a car while yours is in. Cloudy headlight lenses polished clear give more light at night.
The car itself
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a quote
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. You can add a rental to the same request.
A rental while we work
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Add a rental to the same request as the work. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
A few things first
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
Planning around the work
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
How the price is set
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
After the work
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Get an offer
A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
