The figures, translated

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Can you rent one?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

What we need from you

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

The booking steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
