Insurance replacement rental: 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv in Java

The 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv: Insurance replacement rental

If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Java and the A4

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,178 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Close by are Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction, each with its own page.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.8 L/100 km, which means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. Expect about $13.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who the A4 suits

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Size and space

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Requirements

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking made plain

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Want a price?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
