Look at the tires, brakes and battery; they are costly to replace. A private seller in Ontario must give you a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check whether every recall was done, by the VIN, before you pay. Ask the seller for the service records of this exact car.

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Best uses
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Which one to look for
If two trims share a powertrain, the difference is equipment, which you can check in person. Ask the seller which trim it is; badges can be swapped and options vary. Each Genesis model page lists its years, so you can see which ones changed.
Money matters
Ask what a set of tires costs for this trim; sizes and prices vary. A pre-purchase inspection is a small cost next to the price of the car. Get an insurance quote for this exact model before you buy; rates differ a lot between models.

Fuel use and fuel cost from the US EPA (fueleconomy.gov), dimensions and weight from NHTSA vPIC Canadian specifications, recalls and complaints from NHTSA. We leave out any figure no free source publishes.
