Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 7.8 L/100 km, which means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $13.65 to drive 100 km.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Requesting a car

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What to bring

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
