Renting for Knobs

Knobs is about 692 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

Under the hood

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Fuel use is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 24 litres. In money, 1,000 km costs about $138.30 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 4.76 m long, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

From your dates to the handover

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

The rules, briefly

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
