A note on Rubyatt

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Rubyatt starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Rubyatt is about 951 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

Close by are Emery, Harrisville and Candor, each with its own page.

What the figures tell you

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 24 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.9 L/100 km combined rating. Every 100 km costs about $13.83 in fuel at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its length is 4.76 m, so it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What to have ready

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

How booking works

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

When you know your dates

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
