Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting one from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Checking your details

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Your booking, in three steps

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

One more step

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
