Flat and the A4

Edgar Springs, Spring Creek and Yancy Mills are the closest places to Flat on our list.

Under the hood

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

How big it is

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Getting this car from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Rules for renters

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How renting with us works

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
