The A4 and Freestone

Places around Freestone include Occidental, Bodega and Valley Ford.

Under the hood

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Renting this car

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

How a booking comes together

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to have ready

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Ready when you are
