What the specs mean

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

In our fleet

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

From your dates to the handover

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Renting: the basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
