Patch and the A4

Close by are Ribier, Lamont and Weedpatch, each with its own page.

Reading the spec sheet

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

The steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
