The figures, translated
The powertrain here is the 2.7L 6-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive and a 5-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
Plan on about 39 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 13.1 L/100 km. At our price setting, it costs about $22.93 to drive 100 km.
When the A6 makes sense
It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.
What the A6 is like
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Measured bumper to bumper, it is 4.88 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Requirements
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
Request, offer, keys
Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
