Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Request, offer, keys

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
